Katherine Weare is known internationally for her work on mindfulness, placed within a lifetime’s work on mental health and wellbeing. She has published widely in the field, lead influential research projects, reviewed the evidence base on ‘what works’, advised policy makers and programmes, appeared on the media and developed practical strategies for schools, universities, CAMHS and parenting. In the last year she was listed as one of ‘the world’s top 40 teachers of mindfulness and meditation’ on the on line mindfulness summit, contributed key evidence to ‘the Mindful Nation UK’ report and written ‘Happy Teachers Change the World: a guide to integrating mindfulness in education’ jointly with Thich Nhat Hanh.
