Marianna is a fully qualified mindfulness teacher (CMRP, Bangor) and CBT group facilitator (Oxord Centre for Cognitive Therapy) with a long track record of working in community settings with people suffering from mood disorders and mental health issues, and others who are socially excluded and vulnerable. Before coming to the UK from Germany, she gained valuable experience in a not-for-profit organisation that worked with young mothers suffering from various mental and emotional problems and their children.
Marianna has long been a passionate advocate of making MBAs accessible and affordable to vulnerable people, and taught numerous MBCT courses at Oxfordshire Mind, her current workplace, between 2010-2015. She is currently engaged in the mindfulness accessibility fund supported project “bringing mindfulness to housing projects for vulnerable young people.
Her other interests include mindful self-compassion, non-violent communication and mindfulness in the workplace.
