Sherylin is an HCPC registered chartered counselling psychologist, accredited psychotherapist, mindfulness teacher and founder of a mindfulness social enterprise, The BeingWell.

Sherylin has collaborated with the NSPCC to conduct research on mental health and emotion regulation in adult survivors of severe childhood adversity. Sherylin is interested in how mindfulness can improve emotion regulation and mental health to help people from all walks of life move closer towards leading more contented lives.

Sherylin founded The BeingWell to help prevent psychological disorders in Tower Hamlets, where approximately 30,000 adults have common mental health symptoms. Tower Hamlets is the 2nd poorest borough in London and poverty is correlated to a high risk of depression and poor mental health. The BeingWell uses profits from running mindfulness training for organisaitons to help fund mindfulness projects for local communities.
